Where are the call-out posts that usually appear whenever a celebrity does something racist or says something awful??
Representation is good and all and I loved Wonder Woman. The character and the movie were amazing but where is the outrage at Gal Gadot’s OFFICIAL stance as a zionist and how she condones the murder of Palestinians?
All I see everywhere is what an amazing woman Gal Gadot is because she played Wonder Woman but you cannot just ignore this because a good movie came out. I’m not asking you to picket but please stop talking like she’s an angel on earth. You can like the character but she has officially stated that she is a proud zionist and was even in the Israeli army herself.
There is literally nothing stating this. If a celebrity said something racist against black people or jewish people, there would be thousands of posts mentioning it but when it comes to Palestinians and Muslims, it’s all quiet and Gal Gadot is just ‘awesome’.
This is pissing me off so much because I thought I wouldn’t have to make the post myself and that others would do it, who are more popular than my blog, and who could spread this post better. But I had to because no one else was and I really hope this spreads and more people see it because I am done.
In all honesty, Wonder Woman was amazing and I hope it does well but please don’t forget that Gal Gadot has openly admitted to being a Zionist and condones the murder of Palestinians.
Just a warning that during attacks like this, abusers and predators use the panic to post pictures of people they’re looking for among real victims to help track them down without suspicion.
Make sure the person you’re spreading around is actually missing as well as you can.
